    Contract: Permanent

    Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

    Based: Field based – national coverage

    Salary: Competitive basic salary + car allowance

     

    Due to continued growth and investment into our new build residential care homes, an excellent opportunity has arisen for an established construction professional to join our ambitious organisation.

    Reporting to the Director of Design and Construction, this role will cover approximately 40 new build residential homes throughout the UK to ensure all defects and latent defects on new care home developments are identified, reported and completed in accordance with timescales set out in contract documentation. The successful candidate will be an effective communicator, with a customer service focus and the ability to work in partnership with home management staff, contractors, employer’s agent and facilities management.

    Criteria

    • Excellent communicator with a customer centric focus
    • Qualification in Facilities Management/Building Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor/Engineering
    • Knowledge of JCT contracts
    • Experience of the care home industry is highly desirable 
    • Own transport is essential due to the remote locations of our homes
