  • Commercial Finance Business Partner 

    Contract: Permanent

    Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours/week

    Based: Colchester (time spent will be split approx 50/50% office/field based, covering Surrey, Sussex and South London areas)

    Salary: Depending on experience, plus £4,000 p.a. car allowance

    Interview dates: 21st and 24th Feb 2020

    This is a fantastic opportunity for an established finance professional with excellent communication and people skills to take a step into a commercially focused business partner role. 

    You’ll be out and about in the field around 40-50% of your week, providing commercial guidance to our Regional Directors and their operational teams through insight and data driven analytics. You’ll lead on budgeting and forecasting activity with reference to current risks and opportunities, individual site strategies and overall divisional targets.

    Most importantly, you’ll have the ability build rapport and influence senior stakeholders, both internally and externally, to ensure business delivery, challenging where necessary to reach desired outcomes in the best interests of the business.

    Criteria

    • Experience in a business partnering role in a financial setting
    • Competent with forecasting and budgeting
    • Experience of reviewing and analysing P & L performance, identifying opportunity to be more commercially efficient, and writing credible business cases
    • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
    • Financial modeling
    • Competent presenter to wide audiences
    • Excellent communicator on all levels in writing and verbal
    • Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders with excellent influencing skills to achieve stakeholder buy in
    • Results and deadline driven, ability to work to deadlines
