- Where you'll work
Opened in 2006, St Vincent’s House is a modern and elegant purpose-designed care home in Hammersmith, west London.
The four-storey home has a smart ‘townhouse’ appearance, with attractive brickwork and decorative Juliet balconies.
Residents’ rooms are bright, spacious and very comfortable. Each room features en-suite facilities, stylish furniture, phone and television connection points and a 24-hour nurse call system. Some of our rooms offer pleasant views over our grounds.
Each of our four suites has its own dining room, lounge and quiet room. The home also has its own activity room, library and hairdressing salon. Our light-filled conservatory is a great place for residents to socialise or relax and we also have a kitchenette for residents’ and visitors’ use.
Our attractive grounds include a memorial garden where residents’ families have donated plants and solar lights to remember their loved ones. The home and grounds are fully wheelchair accessible. Also based in our building are the Hammersmith and Fulham community mental health team for older people and a day centre run by the Alzheimer’s Society.
Care UK is committed to ensuring that it employs people with the right mix of talent, skills and potential and will assess every applicant fairly regardless of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, responsibilities for dependents, age, physical/mental disability or offending background. Having a criminal record will not necessarily prevent you from working with us, it will depend on the nature of the role and background of any offence.
