    Great opportunity at Care UK, for an exciting and fast paced position.  As the Internal Communications Co-ordinator you will be responsible for co-ordinating and creating effective operational communications, with Operations being your key customer, using the already embedded communication channels.   You’ll also have responsibility for co-ordinating and delivering generic divisional and cross divisional engagement comms, including organisation and sector news, with HR being your key customer.

    The role will see you:

    • Facilitate and input to the creation of an effective communications plan and annual communications calendar for both operational and engagement comms
    • Develop and deliver regular, effective communications channels which support the business in terms of operational implementation, change management and RCS’s strategic priorities
    • Research current trends and innovation, proposing best practice recommendations for on-going development and delivery of RCS’s internal communications strategy
    • Maintain consistently high quality and timely internal communication channels across the RCS division and be responsible for ensuring that all existing communication channels are appropriate and fit for purpose
    • Input into the message content for employee events and cyclical engagement initiatives including support with content development of campaigns to raise awareness and encourage take up for a range of employee initiatives e.g. rewards, recognition schemes etc
    • Develop creative solutions to continually improve the quality and impact of internal communication campaigns, monitoring results and consulting with internal customers to adapt communications methods as appropriate
    • Work with HR as a key customer to review employee engagement, and Operations as a key customer to review implementation, using results to help shape future plans
    • Work collaboratively with internal communications and Marketing colleagues at group level to support the development/roll-out of group-wide projects and to ensure a fully integrated approach to all internal communications activity
    • Responsible for ensuring the tone of voice of all internal communications uphold Care UK’s ‘colleague brand’


    We are looking for someone that is:

    • Educated to A level or degree level
    • Experienced in copy writing/creative writing
    • Has a strong understanding of tone of voice and employee branding
    • Intermediate user of Word, excel and Powerpoint
    • Proven track record of using Lucidpress, Campaign Monitor or similar software
    • Strong communication skills -written and verbal
    • Strong relationship builder
    • Able to work in matrix structures
    • Ability to adapt style to suit audience
    • Dynamic & flexible
